Ormond Family.

What a fun family. It was definitely good times taking these pictures. I think that we were able to get a lot of good shots. I love the background. We were also lucky enough to have a nice cloudy perfectly lit day. It is so nice when everything comes together without much effort on my part. The only thing that I had to worry about was being entertaining enough to get all of the babies to look at me. I am glad that no one was taking a picture in my direction, I am sure it would have been a lovely image...:)

Jaydn.

Okay...prepare for picture overload...this little boy totally ROCKS the camera! He was the funnest little guy to photograph. He came with his own poses and a grin that's to die for, so my job was pretty easy. Thanks to his mom for being sooo patient with me. She has had to wait through a family vacation and a week of Dance Festival Pictures before I was able to proof her session. There are a lot of pictures coming your way Deborah. Sometimes too many pictures makes it hard to choose which ones you want and can be a little overwhelming, but I figure it is your fault that he is so cute and easy to photograph. So you will have to put up with LOTS of pictures on your gallery. Here is a little preview...

After the shoot Jaydn got to change into his suit and do some tricks for me into the river. He is a brave little boy that will do anything for a good pic. He is right up my alley! Thanks for a great time Jaydn!

International Dance Festival.

I have been busy this week getting to know and taking pictures of dancers from around the world. It has been an amazing experience. A lot of work - yes, but something that I won't ever forget. It has been so much fun working with these people. I have gotten to know some of them very well and it has been great. One of my new friends is a journalist from Egypt and he is putting some of my photos in his Egyptian paper. Awesome! I really think that he has just become my friend because he wants my pics, but I'm okay with it. :) (he really is a nice guy and very complimentary) Doesn't it make me a world known photographer if my work is in Egypt. Ya, let's go with that!

I just want to give a shout out for the International Dance Festival Performance tonight. If you haven't been yet, you should definitely go and see these countries perform. My husband is the least cultural person I know. I have to bribe him to go to anything remotely cultural with me and after helping me yesterday, he WANTS to go tonight! It is something worth taking your family to for sure. Here is a glimpse of the performers...

I don't know what the above instrument is, but I want one. It makes the coolest sound. I might have to travel to Thailand someday and pick one up.

I also want one of these. I just think it looks neat! I will pick one of these up while I am there.

I just want to let everyone know that this summer has been great and I have been keeping very busy. THANKS to all of you that have worked with me so far. I am filling up fast. I only have 3 openings left in August for photo shoots. So let me know soon if you want to schedule a session with me before summer is over.
Thanks so much for all the support. It is always awesome to get to do the work that you LOVE!

Flygare.

Another fun family photo shoot. I hope that you like your shots Roxa. Thanks for a fun evening and for the fun girl talk afterwards. It has been way too long. We might have to get together more than every 10 years or so and then we won't have to chat for quite so long.....ha....we probably still would. Love ya Roxa, here is your preview...

This is one of my favorite shots of the night. The whole family is posed ready to go, but we are missing one...where did he go...the tree of course. What little boy couldn't resist climbing that tree. I totally understand.

I love this little boy! He was the perfect model. He made my job so easy. I loved that his Mom and Aunt had their own props too. It was such a fun shoot. Thanks for sharing your little man with me for a few hours. Lacey, your proofs should be here anyday...
